Tender Bodies (full HD resolution CGI to 35mm)

Mixed in 5.1 surround at Sonic Arts and print mastered at Digital Cinema in NYC for Dolby Digital release on 35mm film, Creative Capital has this to say about Tender Bodies, the third film by Jim Duesing to be mixed at Sonic Arts, "Like his earlier films, this computer animation presents a dystopian world in which strangely mutant characters act out deeply familiar emotions. Anxiety, fear, and desire permeate Duesing's post-apocalyptic urbanscapes, in which scenes and situations metamorphose with the free-floating logic of dreams."
The Chisholm Trail Experience (35mm / HD projection)
The Chisholm Trail Experience is the central element of an "environmental theater" at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center in Duncan, OK. A surround sound pre-mix was created at Sonic Arts final mixing performed on site. The 9 channel mix includes a custom 7.1 configuration with the addition of a special low frequency transducer "seat shaker" channel to enhance the in theater theatrical effects and on screen action. The film is enhanced with theatrical effects in the theater space, including wind machines, rain spritzers, lighting, and smells pumped into the room during certain scenes.
Texas Wild!, Fort Worth Zoo (animation / SD projection)
This immersive theater experience created by Jack Rouse Associates includes a thunderstorm with hail and rain, a stampede, a wind storm, a brush fire, and predator and prey sequences brought to life in the diorama that encompasses the audience. Hosted by two animated characters, Gabby (a roadrunner) and Swifty (a fox), the show makes extensive use of a custom configured 9.1 surround sound mix. The sound design by Sonic Arts included hand made feathered wings for Gabby's foley work and a haunting deep forest night sequence.
Think First! (animation+live action/multi-screen museum installation)
Patrons enter a giant stylized head to view Think First!, a dual screen interactive presentation designed to help young people make healthy choices. The sound design was created at Sonic Arts with the final mix performed on site in a 4.1 surround (no center channel) configuration. HealthSpace Cleveland focuses on current public health issues, health science technology and research discoveries through exhibits, education and outreach activities that encourage healthy lifestyle choices.

Inventing Flight (documentary; DVD)

Produced by ThinkTV for the Wright Brothers Centenial, Inventing Flight can be seen at two national park service venues near the Wright Brothers home town of Dayton, OH. Mixed in 5.1 Dolby Digital surround for DVD playbak.
Heartsong (Music performance; DVD)

Created for the Heartsong Theater at Dollywood, this 20 minute musical revue was originally mixed in an 8.0 custom channel configuration designed for the installation at Dollywood. Sonic Arts remixed the eight channel master to create a 5.1 Dolby Digital surround mix for DVD.
The Bobs (Live Music + documentary; DVD)

The a capella vocal group The Bobs was recorded in front of a live audience on Valentine's Day 2001 for boradcast on Public Television. Sonic Arts provided 5.1 surround and stereo mixes from the multitrack recordings of the show for the DVD release by MaxxMedia+Events.
Schizophrenic Bill (Short Film; 16mm)

Student filmmaker Scott Kirkpatrick's stark view of a day(?) in Bill's schizophrenic life. Mixed for 2 channel stereo and 16mm optical.
Nightowls of Coventry (Feature, super 16mm)

Producer/Director Laura Paglan shot this period piece in Cleveland, OH. A new waitress walks into a collision of cultures in Marv's neighborhood Jewish deli. Early 70's hippies and old time deli regulars try to co-exist during an era of change.
We Are Not Vanishing (Documentary; DV to 35mm)

Filmmaker Alphonzo Wesson examines the legacy of Dorothy Height, civil rights leader and creator of the Black Family Reunion. We Are Not Vanishing was seen on Showtime as part of it's 2002 Black Filmmakers Showcase.
People Like Us (Feature; 35mm)

A small town; a failing funeral home; and a casket with a million dollars in it instead of a body. After that, things get a complicated --and a little bit dangerous-- for the heir to the family funeral home as he schemes to keep the found money. Directed by Rob Kennedy and produced by Kennedy Production Group.
Just Passin' Through and What Angels Fear (Television Movie)

Produced by the Dreambuilder Celebration, a competition for African American playwrights/screenwriters, these television movies each offered an annual winner the opportunity to see his/her work brought to life on film.
